I started practicing yoga about thirteen years ago while in college. For the first several years of my practice, I studied Iyengar yoga, but eventually familiarized myself with other styles of yoga. Ready to take my personal practice to the next level, I started teaching about two and a half years ago. I got my RYT 200 last summer from the K. W. Yoga Teacher Training in Guanacaste, Costa Rica training in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin yoga. However, my roots in Iyengar definitely shine through in my teaching. (This translates into I LOVE USING PROPS!) I love how teaching requires me to continuously progress in all aspects of yoga in order to keep up with my students. If there is one thing I have learned, it’s that we are all on this journey together. We are united. We are one. Namaste
I was introduced to yoga by a dear friend and teacher several years ago. This was pivotal in my yoga journey. Beth began practicing Yoga in college, and has maintained the practice because she loves the way each “on the mat” experience is different. Her practice helps her in her ongoing quest to strengthen and nurture her mind, body and spirit. Yoga continues to show her ways to be joyful and mindful in her everyday life. Learning breath control and thought direction bolsters her through the adventures of life. Sharing the joy of yoga is a new path, and is already a fulfilling one. Beth loves to plan and share yoga class- asanas and wisdom, breathing and movement. Beth’s hope is that her students leave their mats ready to enjoy what is ahead.

Allie's journey in the exploration of mind/body and human potential began with the study of psychology in 1994. After recognizing the limitations of clinical psychology, she shifted to study sound engineering and music business in Austin where she co-owned and operated a recording studio and continued to perform and compose music, as she had since she was 14. Eventually, it was time to shift and search again, and she spent some time in Maine working on organic farms before returning to Austin to study philosophy at the University of Texas. Philosophy seemed to tie everything together that she was drawn to explore: ancient world religions, metaphysics (the nature of reality), ethics, environmental ethics, the relationship of humanity to nature and the cosmos, the relationship between mind and matter, truth in the context of self and society, the psychology of architecture and nature, ecology, epistemology….
When she returned to San Angelo to raise children, open up an organic health food store and eatery, and restore a family farm on the Concho River to native grassland… she was eventually brought back to the practice of yoga. It has been at Yoga San Angelo that all of her previous endeavors in music, psychology, alternative medicine, and philosophy have converged in developing sound meditation and healing classes after a workshop and gong practitioner course with a gong Master in Austin last year.
Allie is currently engaged in a self-paced online 200-hour yoga teacher training based in India, and she's also working on Reiki Level I, II, and Master Certification. Upon completion of those certifications, she hopes to find time to move on to an M.A. in Depth Psychology with a specialization in Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies, continuing on her journey of discovery in the mind/body realms and deepening her practice of sound meditation and sound therapy.
Allie is our Gong Queen and leads sound baths on Sunday evenings, private gong sessions, and floating meditation.

In 2010 Raquel completed her first 200hr yoga teacher training at La Jolla Yoga Center in San Diego, CA with Jeanie Carlstead and Michael Fukumaura. The philosophy was based in Anusara & anatomical portion was based in Iyengar. She soon after completed a 100-hour Anusara Immersion at Yoga Tree San Francisco with Stacy Rosenberg. In 2013 Raquel had the opportunity to teach & study Ashtanga and Michelle Timmons in Antibes, France at Sohum Yoga Shala. Practicing and teaching the primary series’s heavily influenced her teaching style to this day.
Raquel then relocated to NYC and completed her 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training at Abhaya Yoga with Tara Glazier, where she learned more in-depth about the subtle body, the art of storytelling and devotional music. And also loved to practice at Jivamukti NYC.
After experiencing back and neck pain, Raquel began a journey into strength training through Lagree Fitness, Pilates, and weightlifting.
Today, Raquel lives in San Angelo with her daughter, teaches yoga, and created a Gravity Pilates Studio called Good Movement.
