I started practicing yoga about thirteen years ago while in college. For the first several years of my practice, I studied Iyengar yoga, but eventually familiarized myself with other styles of yoga. Ready to take my personal practice to the next level, I started teaching about two and a half years ago. I got my RYT 200 last summer from the K. W. Yoga Teacher Training in Guanacaste, Costa Rica training in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin yoga. However, my roots in Iyengar definitely shine through in my teaching. (This translates into I LOVE USING PROPS!) I love how teaching requires me to continuously progress in all aspects of yoga in order to keep up with my students. If there is one thing I have learned, it’s that we are all on this journey together. We are united. We are one. Namaste

Beth began practicing Yoga in college, and has maintained the practice because she loves the way each “on the mat” experience is different. Her practice helps her in her ongoing quest to strengthen and nurture her mind, body and spirit. Yoga continues to show her ways to be joyful and mindful in her everyday life. Learning breath control and thought direction bolsters her through the adventures of life. Sharing the joy of yoga is a new path, and is already a fulfilling one. Beth loves to plan and share yoga class- asanas and wisdom, breathing and movement. Beth’s hope is that her students leave their mats ready to enjoy what is ahead.
