200 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING

August 24th, 2019 - February 9th, 2020

16 Weeks of Course Study (200 Hours)


Program Overview: 

Yoga San Angelo teacher training is a professional 200 hour training program designed to encourage and prepare students and teachers with the tools that it takes to lead a positive, safe, and wisely prepared yoga class with focus on function and alignment, safe sequencing, and energetic benefits. Our program will offer you the opportunity to deepen your practice and explore the potential of teaching yoga. We will cover yoga basics,  history, and application of the practice as well as how to integrate the transformational process of the journey. This program is intended to be empowering and educational. 


Certification: Upon completion of this program you will have fulfilled the requirements to obtain a RYT-200 certification through Yoga Alliance. This is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification by Yoga Alliance standards. 


Curriculum Includes: 16 weeks of in depth course study from Aug. 24, 2019 – Feb 9, 2020,

syllabus and printed course material, 180 contact hours and 20 non-contact hours (including written assignments, practicum, and observation), a 6 month unlimited membership to Yoga San Angelo during the training dates.

o Business, Marketing, and Ethics

Admissions and Prerequisites:

Application, High School diploma, Personal yoga practice


Payment Options:

Commitment is $2,500. Payment plan available. 

$500 deposit applied total due July 15th.

$200 discount if paid if full. 

Remainder balance paid in 4 equal payments of $500 due on the following dates.

Reading Materials Not included. Please budget about $150-$200 for books.

Trainers:

Brea Burke E-RYT 200, RYT 500

Brea began her yoga journey over 10 years ago. In 2009, she completed her first 200 hour teacher training while living in Playa del Carmen, Mexico with teacher Ellen de Jonge E-RYT 200. In 2015, she completed 300 hours of advanced training at Yoga Yoga Austin and currently holds a 500 hour certification through Yoga Alliance. She is the founder and owner of Yoga San Angelo and is certified as a continued education provider for teachers and practitioners. She excited about the new adventure of training teachers. 

Brea is passionate about providing every human with an opportunity to tap into their own innate abilities, personal truths, authenticity, and purpose here on Earth. She believes that you have to fall down to get back up. And that action and adventure make dreams come true! She lives life as spiritual being having a human experience. She stands up for freedom of the heart and limitless love. Love with no boundaries! Love with no blinders! 


Kimberly Jameson E-RYT 200

Kimberly Jameson is a momma, foodie, and yoga teacher who shares the practice of yoga and meditation to heal, harmonize, and enhance your WHOLE life. 

Kimberly's teachings are inspired by many styles and honored teachers with whom she has studied. Kimberly is recognized for being a powerful, clear teacher while creating a down to earth space for her students to explore their practice. Her classes are a blend uniquely sequenced power or gentle flow, yin, pranayama, and meditation. 

Being an E-200RYT/Pre-Natal teacher and mentor, Kimberly has taught yoga since 2012 and practicing since 2001. She is a devoted student who holds a deep reverence for her practice that she shares with her students in a loving and supportive way in their journey as a practitioner or future teacher and leader.

Kimberly has created many community events, classes, and even SUP Yoga while leading classes at her independent studio. Currently, she co-creates teacher training programs and educational classes at Yoga San Angelo. 

Kimberly was influenced by many brilliant teachers but formally, Amy Johnson and Adri Kyser in Dallas, TX. Her current primary teacher is Yogarupa Rod Stryker..
